Semi-Trucks, Car Crash at Wildwood Road and Sherwood Ave
WASCO, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2021) — A fatal Wasco crash at Sherwood Avenue and Wildwood Road happened Friday morning between two semi-trucks and a car, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the deadly crash at 7:14 a.m. on its website. It’s unknown what led up to the collision between a Mazda coupe and the trucks. Firefighters and paramedics responded to help those involved. However, one person died at the scene immediately following the collision.

Meanwhile, a semi truck hauling pistachios spilled its load including the nuts and diesel fuel into the roadway.
Police closed down a portion of Wildwood Road due to the vehicles blocking the roadway.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Wasco crash on Sherwood Avenue. Witnesses may contact the CHP.
