Man, 93, Struck, Killed Riding Bicycle in Westminster
WESTMINSTER, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2024) – A 93-year-old man riding a bicycle died Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a vehicle at Newland Street and Bolsa Avenue in Westminster.
Police responded to the intersection around 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 17th, according to the Westminster Police Department.
Police reported the victim was unresponsive upon their arrival and that despite life-saving measures he died at the scene.
The Orange County Fire Department confirmed his death, but his identity was not released.
Meanwhile, the driver cooperated with detectives as they conducted their investigation.
The Westminster Police Department Traffic Bureau detectives are working on the case.
