1 Killed, 6 Injured on I-15 in Wildomar
WILDOMAR, Calif. (August 7, 2023) — A fatal Wildomar car accident happened early Saturday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Clinton Keith Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 12:46 a.m. on August 5th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Deadly Crash on I-15 Freeway
Multiple people were injured in the collision and someone called 911 to report the crash and request paramedics and firefighters, according to a report by CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
Sadly, one person died at the scene of the collision and six other people were taken by ground ambulances to hospitals for further treatment. One of the people had critical injuries, three others had moderate injuries, and two were treated for minor injuries, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Wildomar accident on the 15 Freeway.
