Darlyn Chitica Perez, 25, Dead in Collision in Willowbrook
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 30, 2021) – A fatal Willowbrook car accident happened Wednesday night at Avalon Boulevard and East Rosecrans Avenue in south Los Angeles.
UPDATED: Darlyn Chitica Perez, 25, identified as victim of Willowbrook crash.
The two-vehicle collision happened just before 10:17 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29th at the Willowbrook intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 25-year-old Hispanic woman died in a crash with another motorist in unincorporated Willowbrook.
CHP Officers responded at 10:17 p.m. to the scene of the crash and located the woman partially ejected from her vehicle. It’s unknown at this time if anyone else suffered injuries in the wreck.
Sadly, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identified the victim after they notify family members about the fatal Willowbrook car accident.
Meanwhile, the cause of the collision is under investigation and police will determine fault.
