Fatal Willows Crash Interstate 5 Freeway, County Road 57

Rollover Crash on I-5 Freeway in Willows

WILLOWS, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2023) — At least one person is dead and several others injured after a fatal crash in Willows on the Interstate 5 Freeway at County Road 57.

The traffic accident occurred at around 4:02 a.m. on Oct. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a Chevrolet Trailblazer overturned in the crash on the southbound I-5 Freeway.

Two people with major injuries were airlifted by medical helicopters to Enloe Medical Center and three others were taken by ground ambulances to Rideout Regional Medical Center in Marysville.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision or how many vehicles were involved.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Willows crash on the 5 Freeway.
