One Killed, Three Injured in Harbor Freeway Car Accident
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 26, 2023) – A fatal head-on crash due to a wrong way driver happened on the Harbor 110 Freeway near Exposition Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
One man died and three other people were critically injured in the 2:49 a.m. traffic accident on May 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Several vehicles, including a taxi, collided in the northbound lanes of the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to MyNewsLA.
A woman driving a black sedan was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when she slammed into the taxi driver, causing him major injuries. Paramedics responded and rushed him to a hospital where he later died.
Three other people suffered major injuries and were hospitalized after the fatal crash on the 110 Freeway.
Police closed all lanes of the northbound freeway to conduct an investigation into what happened and determine fault.
The freeway reopened by 6 a.m. the same day.
