Wrong-way Driver Dies in Baldwin Hills Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2023) — A wrong-way driver died and two were injured Sunday in a crash on La Cienega Boulevard in Baldwin Hills.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at around 11:22 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11th, near Obama Boulevard, according to MyNewsLA.
Authorities reported the man was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of La Cienega Boulevard due to unknown circumstances. The man’s vehicle collided with the other two cars and he sustained major injuries. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.
Meanwhile, a man and woman in one of the other vehicles were injured and transported to a hospital by ambulances.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center is heading up the investigation into the Baldwin Hills crash.
