Felipe Arana, 54; and Maria Arana, 51, Injured in Napa Crash on Highway 29
NAPA, CA (January 28, 2021) – A car crash injured Felipe Arana and Maria Arana at Highway 29 and Jameson Canyon Road in Napa.
Authorities identified the 54-year-old Napa man and the 51-year-old woman as victims of the wreck which occurred on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened on January 27 when Felipe Arana was driving a GMC northbound with Maria Arana as his passenger.
At the same time, a Kia turned left from Highway 29 onto Jameson Canyon against a red light. The California Highway Patrol said the two cars then collided in the intersection.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found Maria Arana suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the collision. According to the article published by the Napa Valley Register, the accident took place at about 7:45 p.m.
Medical personnel rushed her to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. They treated Felipe Arana at the crash site for the minor wounds he sustained in the wreck.
Meanwhile, officials also took the driver of the Kia with major injuries. CHP named him as 25-year-old Joshua Buensalida, of Fairfield.
Officers forced the road to shut down for a time following the accident. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
