Felipe Lopez Killed in Winnetka Pedestrian Accident on Roscoe Boulevard

Man, 78, Hit by Vehicle in Winnetka is Identified

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 22, 2206) – Felipe Lopez, 78, was struck and killed earlier this month by a vehicle while crossing Roscoe Boulevard in Winnetka.

The fatal crash occurred around 8:10 p.m. on Sept. 12th in the 20000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, just east of Winnetka Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pedestrian was struck by a westbound vehicle traveling along Roscoe, police said. The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation by the LAPD.

Sadly, the 78-year-old man did not survive the collision and died at the hospital.

Finally, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Felipe Lopez.
