FERNDALE (August 10, 2018) – A bicyclist and a truck collided in the area of Mattole Road and Ocean Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident was logged on August 9, Thursday.

Officials said an unidentified man was riding a bicycle at the intersection when, for reasons still under investigation, he was hit by a blue truck around 5:24 p.m.
Witnesses claimed both the bicyclist and the truck operator stayed at the location, and talked after the incident. The condition of the cyclist following the crash was not immediately disclosed.
