At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Salt River Bridge
Ferndale, CA (June 12, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on Highway 211 resulted in injuries, the Redheaded Blackbelt News reported.
Officials said a passenger vehicle collided with a tractor near mile marker 75 on SR-211. The crash took place just east of Ferndale at the Salt River Bridge.
According to the article published online, the force from the impact caused the tractor to careen towards the direction of the guardrail. The tractor ended up with one wheel hanging off the bridge. Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on how the car came to a rest of the collision.
Major Car Accident on Highway 211 in Ferndale
Medical personnel arrived at the accident scene shortly after 2:23 p.m. Responding paramedics said they found at least one person with injuries. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 211 in Ferndale.
