Fire Fully Engulfs Vehicle
POTRERO, San Diego County (July 16, 2016) – A 42-year-old motorcyclist has been killed as a result of a fiery crash on Highway 94 also known as Campo Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The incident took place on July 16, Saturday at around 3:20 p.m.
In detail, the CHP log and an article by ABC 10 identified a Jeep, a Toyota sedan, and a 2000 Aprilia motorcycle were located at the crash site. Further, the Jeep was affirmed to have crossed into the opposite lane; sideswiping the Toyota and crashing head-on against a motorcycle, as per the article.
At least one vehicle was fully engulfed by fire and another rolled over to its roof.
The accident resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider. The identity of the deceased is not disclosed as of the moment due to coroners still working on notifying next of kin.
No immediate information was provided on the condition of the other parties involved.
The fatal collision remained under investigation.
