Fiery Crash on Cahuenga Boulevard and the Hollywood 101 Freeway

Two Critically Injured in Solo Car Accident

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2023)- Three people were injured after a fiery cash on Cahuenga Boulevard, just east of the Hollywood (101) Freeway.

The solo-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:03 a.m. on Oct. 18th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the scene of the collision at 2346 N. Cahuenga Boulevard to help those hurt in the traffic accident.

Police say the vehicle was traveling on the Hollywood Freeway when its driver lost control and veered off the freeway. The car was occupied by three people and burst into flames, the LAFD said.

Paramedics transported the injured people to a hospital where two people were listed in critical condtion and the third had minor injuries.

There were no further details about the people involved at this time.

The crash on Cahuenga Boulevard remains under investigation.
