Man, 84, Fatal Victim in Collision at East Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue Thursday
Long Beach, CA (October 21, 2021) – Fikre Workneh, an 84-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of East Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck a male party at the Long Beach intersection. The horrible crash took place at about 6:25 a.m. at East Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue.
Fikre Workneh Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the male party found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and died.
Authorities later identified the deceased as Fikre Workneh.
Meanwhile, investigators described the car involved in the unfortunate event as a 2021 Acura ILX. Officials mentioned the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident in Long Beach.
