2 Injured After Car Crash on SR-126 Monday
FILLMORE, Ca (March 23, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Highway 126, according to Ventura County Star News.
The crash happened Monday at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Primary reports indicated a Toyota Solara was heading east on the highway when it apparently came up on two vehicles in its path. Our sources indicated the driver of the Solara tried to use the right shoulder to pass. However, the driver lost control as he tried to come back into the traffic lane and ended up going down an embankment.
Authorities said the Toyota ended up plunging about 20 feet over the side of the roadway onto an orchard.
Shortly after the wreck, medical teams responded to the crash site and found both the driver and passenger in the Toyota suffering in injuries.

Per local news source, the driver sustained lacerations to their neck and other major injuries. Meanwhile, the passenger had minor injuries. Paramedics transported the two patients to a hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the collision have not been revealed thus far. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
