Robles, 30, of Fillmore was arrested on suspicion of murder after the investigation revealed the collision was intentionally caused.
Robles was traveling westbound on State Route 126 yesterday near Telegraph Road when police say he intentionally accelerated his car into the back of the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s car spun out and veered into eastbound lanes where a big rig truck struck it, killing the driver. A passenger in Robles’ vehicle and the truck driver suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital.
Police spent hours at the scene reviewing evidence and speaking to witnesses to piece together what happened.
