Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Fillmore Hit-and-run Crash
FILLMORE, Calif. (June 17, 2020) — A hit-and-run driver fled the scene of a crash that left a person with serious injuries Sunday on Santa Clara Street in Fillmore.
The Fillmore Police Department are now seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect.
The collision took place about midnight on Sunday when a driver in a light-colored, four-door Chevrolet or GMC pickup struck the victim.
The driver backed up, drove around the person and kept driving without stopping to help the person. A witness told authorities that the person was lying in the road before the crash, but it’s unknown why.
Paramedics rushed the injured person to a hospital for treatment.
