At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Nees and Russell Avenue
Firebaugh, CA (April 9, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Nees and Russell Avenue.
Our sources indicated a semi truck collided with a white sedan at the intersection in Firebaugh. Officials mentioned the big rig involved in the wreck was pulling a trailer carrying unspecified items.
Shortly after 5:38 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the white sedan with significant damage. Paramedics rendered aid to all the occupants in the car. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly died as a result of the crash. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident at Nees and Russell Avenue in Firebaugh.
