Firebaugh Fatal Crash Fairfax Avenue and Bullard Avenue

1 Killed in Firebaugh Crash at Fairfax Avenue and Bullard Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 1, 2021) – At least one was killed after a crash at Fairfax Avenue and Bullard Avenue in Firebaugh.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on July 31 at about 1:15 p.m.

CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Firebaugh. They crashed at the intersection of at North Fairfax Avenue and West Bullard Avenue.

2 Trucks Collide

The incident log described the vehicles as Ford F-150 pickup truck and a tomato truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.

The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.  Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party ended up hurt following the wreck.

Officers forced the intersection of Fairfax and Bullard avenues to shut down for hours after the collision. The cause of the fatal Firebaugh crash is still under investigation.
