Five Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Westwood Area
WESTWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2024) – Five people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in the Westwood area on South Veteran Avenue at Ophir Drive.
One of them was seriously injured in the 11:35 a.m. collision on Oct. 29th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash in front of 420 South Veteran Avenue.
Firefighters located two people trapped in the wreckage and freed them before paramedics transported the injured to a hospital, according to the LAFD report. Four people were listed in fair condition and one had serious injuries.
Finally, the circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
