1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Florin Road and Power Inn Road
FLORIN, CA (July 16, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Florin Road and Power Inn Road in Florin.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident early Friday. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at about 12:30 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Florin area. They crashed at the intersection of Florin Road and Power Inn Road.
2 Vehicles Collide in Florin
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the crash site. They are still searching for the motorist.
Officers forced the intersection of Florin and Power Inn roads to shut down following the hit-and-run crash. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
