1 Injured in Florin Hit-and-Run Crash at Gerber Road and Skybrook Lane
FLORIN, CA (May 27, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Gerber Road and Skybrook Lane in Florin.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 9:30 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Florin. They crashed at the intersection of Gerber Road and Skybrook Lane.
Car Collision Near Southwoods Park
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Southwoods Park. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
Officers forced the intersection of Gerber and Skybrook following the collision. The Florin hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
