Pedestrian Injured in Florin Crash on Sunbreeze Lane Near Sunmore Lane
FLORIN, CA (January 20, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Sunbreeze Lane in Florin.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:14 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian in Florin. For an unknown reason, the driver hit the person at 8201 Sunbreeze Lane near Sunmore Lane.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Stockton Boulevard. They found the victim who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Methodist Hospital of Sacramento for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced a stretch of Sunbreeze Lane to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Florin pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
