Pedestrian Injured in Florin Hit-and-Run at Stockton Boulevard and Lindale Drive
FLORIN, CA (May 29, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Stockton Boulevard and Lindale Drive in Florin.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the incident at about 5:21 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason in Florin. The driver involved hit her at the intersection of Stockton Boulevard and Lindale Drive.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the victim left wounded in the center divider as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took to the patient to the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled northbound. They described the car as a blue colored sedan.
Officers forced the intersection of Stockton and Lindale to close following the collision. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The cause of the Florin hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
