Woman, 18, Killed in Stockton Hit-and-Run at California and Walnut
STOCKTON (December 24, 2018) – An alleged hit-and-run driver who killed pedestrian along California Street Thursday has been identified, according to Record Net.
The suspect, 57-year-old Floyd Lamont Howard, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run resulting in death and vehicular manslaughter.
As per the article, Stockton police said Howard was driving a Chevrolet Suburban south on North California Street when he struck an 18-year-old woman.
The victim was crossing the street at the East Walnut Street intersection when she was hit.

She was left lying in the roadway with severe injuries.
Police affirmed that the woman was rushed to San Joaquin General Hospital, where she later died. The collision occurred on December 20 at about 9:30 p.m.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, Howard did not stop to render aid and fled south right after the crash. He is being held at the San Joaquin County Jail with a bail set at $750,000.
