1 Hospitalized After Collision on Lexington Drive Saturday
Folsom, CA (August 14, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Lexington Drive Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated two vehicles collided in the 180 bloc of S. Lexington Drive near Oak Avenue Parkway in Folsom. Officials said a black Nissan Frontier crashed into the passenger side of another passenger vehicle. The force from the impact caused the passenger vehicle to spin uncontrollably across the roadway.
According to the CHP log, the victim ended up hitting the center divider on Lexington Drive. The man behind the wheel of the passenger vehicle apparently called for help from family members. Our sources indicated the mother of the victim arrived at the crash site, then transported the injured son to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities later confirmed the driver of the Nissan failed to pull over after the collision. At this time, detectives continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash in Folsom.
