FOLSOM, California (March 28, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision Monday on westbound Highway 50, just west of Prairie City Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. (map)
The crash involving a white Ford F250 and a silver Mercedes sedan occurred about 5:20 p.m.
As per the incident log, Sacramento Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victim who sustained minor injuries following the accident. The patient was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.
The cause of the collision has not been yet known. Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine liability.
