FONTANA, California (Wednesday, February 24, 2016) – A four-vehicle traffic collision occurred on eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, west of Cherry Avenue, which caused at least one major injury. A dark-colored Mini-Cooper struck a silver Cadillac Escalade and a grey Toyota Yaris. A single vehicle blocked lane two of the roadway; the others were able to pull to the right hand shoulder. An ambulance transported at least one party to the local hospital.
The accident might have been caused by pickup truck that spilled boxes into the roadway.
The incident took place this evening at about 9:34 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. Towing was made available for all parties who required it.
