FONTANA, California (January 8, 2015) – An injury accident involving a big rig truck and a car was reported Thursday morning at San Bernardino and Almond avenues, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5:19 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash and reported that the cab of the semi-tractor trailer truck was “caved in.” One of the lanes of the roadway was blocked by the truck. Paramedics responded to the crash to assist those who were injured.
“Hopefully all those injured in this crash have a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability and will issue a report in the coming weeks with their findings. This report is necessary if someone is hurt in a car accident and wants to seek compensation for their losses, Johnson said.
