4-Vehicle Fontana Collision Redwood Ave and Valley Blvd.
FONTANA, Calif. (August 18, 2021) — A Fontana car accident involving four motorists happened early Wednesday morning at Redwood Avenue and Valley Boulevard.
One person was injured in the multi-vehicle collision that took place about 5 a.m. on Aug. 18th in southwestern Fontana, the Fontana Herald News reports.
Also, the drivers of a semi-tractor trailer truck and three other vehicles collided at the intersection of Redwood Avenue and Valley Boulevard.
Furthermore, it’s unknown what led up to the semi-truck crashing into a small sedan. The driver in the car became trapped inside, according to Fontana Police Officer Daniel Romero.
Fontana Car Accident Investigation
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene of the Fontana car accident.
Firefighters worked to free the driver from the vehicle at the crash scene.
Additionally, two other vehicles involved had been at the stop light at the time of the collision.
Finally, the Fontana car accident remains under investigation by the CHP. Witnesses may contact authorities.
