2 Injured in Fontana Crash on Westbound 210 Freeway Near Cherry Avenue
FONTANA, CA (May 17, 2021) – Two were injured after a car and utility truck crash on the 210 Freeway in Fontana.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:24 p.m.
CHP said a white utility truck and a tan colored sedan collided for an unknown reason in Fontana. The two crashed on the westbound 210 Freeway, east of Cherry Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed one patient to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with major injuries. They took the second party to San Antonio Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound 210 Freeway near Cherry Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Fontana crash.
