
Fontana crash 210 Freeway Beech
Several Injured in Fontana Crash on Beech Avenue Off-Ramp at 210 Freeway
FONTANA, CA (May 14, 2021) – A car crash left several people injured on the Beech Avenue off-ramp at the 210 Freeway in Fontana.
Fontana Herald News wrote that the incident happened on Thursday, May 13. A vehicle was stopped at the bottom of the Beech Avenue off-ramp in Fontana for an unknown reason.
At the same time, another car came off the same off-ramp at a high rate of speed. The reckless driver was traveling in excess of 100 mph from Pomona on the eastbound 210, before exiting at Beech.
The California Highway Patrol said the speeding motorist then slammed into the stalled vehicle. The impact forced both cars forward and caused them to collide with a third vehicle.
Girl Victim in Multi-Car Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found multiple victims hurt as a result of the collision. They soon located a severely injured young girl unresponsive in the wreckage.
Passengers riding the stopped vehicle sustained moderate to major injuries following the accident. Medical personnel rushed the patients to the hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the Beech Avenue off-ramp at the 210 Freeway to shut down following the wreck.
The Fontana crash is still under investigation.
