3 Injured in Fontana Crash at Foothill Boulevard and Citrus Avenue
FONTANA, CA (June 2, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash at Foothill Boulevard and Citrus Avenue in Fontana.
According to an article published by the Fontana Herald News, the accident took place last week on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on May 26 at about 9:13 p.m.
Fontana police said the incident happened when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. The cars crashed at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Citrus Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
One of the drivers involved sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics soon arrived at the scene and rushed the motorist to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Two passengers from one of the other vehicles complained of pain upon impact. Medical personnel transported them to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of all the wounded parties. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Foothill and Citrus to shut down for about five hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Fontana crash is still under investigation.
