FONTANA, California (August 4, 2014) – A driver whose tire blew out was ejected in a crash with a big rig truck Monday morning on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Sierra Avenue, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 8:38 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash involving an overturned blue Toyota sedan that spun out after its tire blew out. The vehicle crashed into the front of a big rig truck and the motorist who was driving the Toyota was laying down on the ground, the report said.
Paramedics were called to respond to the scene of the crash, but there were no further details provided.
“Hopefully this person pulls through and has a complete recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
