FONTANA, California (April 25, 2014) – Carol Elaine Rowlen,62, of Fontana was killed early Thursday morning in a rollover crash on the Interstate 210 Freeway just west of the Cherry Avenue off ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:40 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash where Rowlen’s blue 2003 Mitsubishi Montero had overturned in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway. Paramedics rushed to the freeway, but Rowlen died at the scene of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident to determine what happened and if any other vehicles were involved or if this was a solo crash.
“My condolences go out to the family of Carol Rowlen as they learn of this accident and cope with her sudden loss,” said Attorney James Johnson.
