Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman Near Sierra Avenue
Fontana, CA (August 28, 2022) – One person died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway near Sierra Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol group, a black Mercedes-Benz struck a female party in the eastbound side of the freeway in Fontana. The horrible crash took place Sunday shortly after 5 p.m.

Our sources indicated the collision left the woman laying down in the traffic lanes. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the victim. Paramedics performed CPR to the patient, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Interstate 10 in Fontana.
