Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on 15 Freeway Friday
Fontana, CA (July 23, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian Accident occurred on Interstate 15, also known as Ontario Freeway, Friday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck hit an individual in the southbound side of Ontario (15) Freeway in Fontana. Per CHP log, the catastrophic incident took place shortly before 9:45 p.m.

Responding emergency teams immediately rendered aid to the victim. Our sources indicated a an ambulance transported the patient to Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the operator of the truck involved. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident in Fontana happened.
