3-Vehicle Fontana Crash I-15 Freeway
FONTANA, Calif. (July 23, 2021) — A Fontana hit-and-run collision happened early Friday morning on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Summit Avenue.
The traffic accident happened about 5:58 a.m. on July 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Also, the driver in a blue Mazda RX8 allegedly collided into a black 1994 Infiniti and a white Toyota Corolla, the CHP said. The Toyota subsequently crashed into the center divider of the freeway. The Infiniti wound up on the right shoulder near the Summit Avenue off ramp.
However, the driver in the Mazda left the scene without stopping to exchange information with the other motorists, police said.
Tow trucks came to remove both of the vehicles left behind by the hit-and-run motorist. Meanwhile, authorities located the suspect’s address and attempted to make contact with them.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there were no further details.
Investigators with the CHP seek to determine the cause of the Fontana hit-and-run collision and liability. It’s unknown if there were any traffic citations or arrests.
