Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Citrus Avenue Sunday
Fontana, CA (January 27, 2022) – At least one person sustained injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 210 on January 23.
The California Highway Patrol group reported three or more vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of I-210, also known as Foothill Freeway. Initial records indicated the accident took place near Citrus Avenue in Fontana.
Shortly after 9:55 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found a gray Hyundai Tucson disabled on the right-hand shoulder of the highway. Authorities also located a white Chevrolet at the scene.
Paramedics said they attended to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, authorities mentioned a motorist involved in the mishap fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
