FONTANA, California (Monday, September 21, 2015) – A witness, calling from the right shoulder of westbound Interstate 210 Freeway, west of Sierra Avenue, described a traffic collision involving two vehicles. Both vehicles partially blocked the HOV lane. Police arrested one man when they arrived on the scene. They cuffed him and struggled to get him into the back of the patrol car. Firefighters assisted the arresting officers. An ambulance took at least one party to a nearby medical facility.
The accident occurred at about 9:33 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol incident report. The accident is still under investigation by the San Bernardino CHP. The precise cause of the accident not yet been determined.
