FONTANA, California (March 22, 2015) — One person was hospitalized Sunday morning after a crash on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Duncan Canyon Road, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
About 6:51 a.m., CHP officers were alerted to a red car that had veered off the freeway, knocked over about 100 feet of chain link fence and was facing sideways on Lyle Cree Drive. The vehicle had major traffic damage after the crash. The father of the victim was notified and the injured person was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The report does not indicate whether this was a solo crash or if another vehicle was involved.
Police will investigate the crash to determine liability.
