Woman Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Slover Avenue Monday
Fontana, CA (August 31, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Slover Avenue Monday morning.
The Fontana Herald News reported a vehicle struck a female party in the 15700 block of Slover Avenue. Officials said the collision took place between Catawba and Poplar avenues in Fontana.
Shortly after 4:22 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found a red GMC Yukon stopped along the roadway, facing west on Slover Avenue.
Pedestrian Hospital After Fontana Accident, August 30
Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian found with injuries. According to the article published online, the woman sustained major head trauma as a result of the collision. An ambulance rushed the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the GMC appeared unharmed after the incident.
Further investigation on the pedestrian accident on Slover Avenue is underway.
