Man Hit and Killed by Car on Roseville Road

FOOTHILL FARMS, Sacramento County (November 17 2017) – A fatal pedestrian accident took place on Roseville Road Thursday evening, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The collision was reported about 7:45 p.m., south of Elkhorn Boulevard.

As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was struck by a 1996 Honda Accord along Roseville Road in the Foothill Farms area.

The victim, a Hispanic man from Newman in Stanislaus County, was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy San Juan Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver involved, a Sacramento man, pulled to the right shoulder and stayed at the scene following the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
