Woman Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Elkhorn and Andrea
Foothill Farms, CA (May 1, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Elkhorn and Andrea Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said two vehicles first collided at the intersection in Foothill Farms. CHP logged the case on April 29, Saturday, around 11:56 a.m.
Major Pedestrian Accident in Foothill Farms
After the crash, a woman stepped out of her vehicle and tried to push it out of the traffic lanes. While pushing the car, a passing vehicle struck the woman.
Emergency crews later arrived at the scene and found the woman lying down the roadway. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim for major injuries. It remained unclear whether the injured woman was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic collision happened at Elkhorn and Andrea Boulevard in Foothill Farms.
