FORESTVILLE (October 19, 2016)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a 3-car collision occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 116 (Pocket Canyon Highway).
At roughly 7:00 a.m., a Nissan Maxima, a gravel truck, and an SUV collided on the highway near Guerneville Road.
All three drivers, three men, were transported to Santa Rose Memorial Hospital.
The involved parties included Ryan Genung, 29, of Santa Rosa, who had been operating the SUV, Gregory Byrum, 56, of Guerneville, the driver of the Nissan, and Ronald Peters, 51, the gravel truck driver.
The conditions of the injured motorists have yet to have been updated.
Furthermore, California Highway Patrol officials are currently gathering more details as they have not determined the cause of the collision at this time.
