Head-on Crash Highway 1 at Mackerricher State Park Road
FORT BRAGG, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2021) — Major injuries were involved in a head-on Fort Bragg crash Wednesday morning on Highway 1.
The collision happened about 11:02 a.m. on Feb. 24th near Mackerricher State Park Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a small black 2-d00r sedan and a white 4-door sedan were involved. One of the vehicles went off the road and there was debris all over the roadway, police said.
Paramedics responded to the head-on Fort Bragg crash scene. There they tended to at least one person with major injuries.
The injured were transported to a hospital for further treatment. There were no further details about the crash.
A police investigation into the cause of the crash is underway. Investigators are seeking to find out what caused the collision, whether there was negligence involved and if any citations should be made. Additional details will be revealed as police learn more about what led up to the crash.
