At Least 1 Injured in Fortuna Rollover Crash on Highway 101
FORTUNA (November 6, 2018) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision along Highway 101 on Monday morning, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident involving two vehicles took place at about 8:48 a.m.
CHP first logged the incident when a gray Ford Escape and a Toyota Tundra collided for an unknown reason on northbound Highway 101 near Palmer Boulevard off-ramp.

The Escape went off the roadway and flipped onto its side while the pickup truck sustained major front-end damage as a result of the crash.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who complained of pain following the wreck. The patient was then taken to Redwood Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The name and condition of the wounded party at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
