The collision occurred at around 5:00 p.m. when a woman driving a Ford Edge was suddenly struck by an out of control Freightliner truck pushing the Ford into a cement wall.
The Ford’s driver, a 58-year-old woman, sustained fatal injuries and did not survive the collision. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger inside the Ford, a 44-year-old, suffered a broken arm and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, the article included.
Neither the truck driver nor his passenger was injured in the collision.
