 Frances Almanza Fatal Sacramento Crash Riverside Boulevard

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 16, 2023) — Frances Marie Almanza, 61, and Rudy Martinis Almamza. 66, both of Elk Grove, died in a collision on Riverside Boulevard in the Pocket area of Sacramento.

The solo-vehicle crash occurred around 11:26 p.m. on May 7th, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.

Police reported the two people were traveling together in a car that crashed into a parked vehicle. Rudy Almanza died at the scene of the crash and Frances Almanza was transported to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Authorities closed down Riverside Boulevard to conduct an investigation into what happened.
