Car Passenger Dies in Big Rig Collision Near Highway 46
McFarland, CA (May 3, 2022) – Francisco Javier Camarena, a 24-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 99.
On April 24, Sunday, a passenger vehicle collided with a big rig on SR-99 in McFarland. The horrible crash took place just north of Highway 46.
Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after the incident. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed a passenger in the car sadly died as a result of the accident.

According to Bakersfield.com, the victim passed away at about 2:23 a.m. The Kern County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Francisco Javier Camarena, of Morgan Hill.
No immediate information was available on the big rig driver
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the catastrophic incident. Further investigation is ongoing on the fatal crash on Highway 99 in McFarland.
